Having seen several of these over the years, I always Admired the look of the chrome gas tank, but never really cared for leather bags. Also add doesn’t mention recalls being done, still nice looking bike. With very low mileage and decent  price tag, maybe a little high.

That was probably the first Guzzi I considered purchasing. The wife commented it was the most comfortable bike she had ever sat on at the time. Sure wish the seller would at least roll it out of the trailer for some good pics. I’d probably go give it a good look except I’ve become accustomed to ABS…

According to Dave Richardson ( MI, Guzziology), the Poltrona Frau  red saddle and bags  Anny  EV went over like a lead balloon here in the US. That ,and  lack of recall mentioned  would make a prima facie impression not so good.  OTOH My 2002  EV  top end was noisy after the recall  was done .The cams, lifters etc showed  zero wear when swapped out at 36k miles ..could have been more., but  that's where the odo quit working

Nice bike, but I wonder if he’s selling the Jaguar XK8, parked in front. Sweet ride.

That was an impossibly expensive guzzi new…if I spent that money new I’d have to embalm it

$4k. 😳 I believe that’s what just the bags cost! Hand built premium quality Italian leather? So you get the bike for free I figure

You only had to wait 20 years and it’s become a great deal

The 80th is a 2002 and is not a hydro.  I don't think there were any issues for that year.

02 was the year for flaky engine paint. nothing other than that.
