Last year at Cedar Vale NAR. Bill (Eskimo Spy) and another gentleman.Anyone know what type of tank bag that is?ThanksDaveGalveston
Dave , that is Wes Stephens , contact him maybe . Dusty
I think it's one of those big ass tankbags How many days till CV Randy?
Two tents camping...that's it? Everybody else sleeping in hammocks or RV's or sleeping in the Iron Butt hotel?
There were more than that , although I've spent many a night in the CV park sans tent . There is usually a farm dog or cat to keep a solo camper company This year we are planning on 40 or so intrepid motorbike riders , CV separates the posers from us real bikers Dusty
A new set of tires showed up on my front porch yesterday, so progress is being made......
...And I didn't slow down 'til I was almost to ArkansasWell, I think I'm gonna reroute my tripI wonder if anybody would think I've flippedIf I went to L.A. via OmahaorIf I went to Cedar Vale via Colorado!
I've never made it to Woolaroc but I've had lunch at Frank and Lola's.
Frank and Lola's is a great place, Dusty. Mike did an Okie Lunch there. Great green chili. Also a music venue (but I've not been there that late). Finally got the EV running. It's not dripping gas and runs good. I've even fixed the dash lights and fuel level indicator <knock wood>
Careful, John.. Guzzi will turn you into a mechanic/electrician yet. :)
He's certainly going to have a more interesting route to get there too from Warshington! I'm going to have to find some twisties along the way up from Houston, most of it looks straight as an arrow on the map! Might have to do some zig-zagging and take a leisurely route up....for some reason, the lyrics to this song just came to mind!...And I didn't slow down 'til I was almost to ArkansasWell, I think I'm gonna reroute my tripI wonder if anybody would think I've flippedIf I went to L.A. via OmahaIf I went to Cedar Vale via Colorado!I would say join us in Colorado for a few days before Cedar Vale, but the hundreds and hundreds of miles of prairie to get west of I-25 is a bit of a drag.
Been decades since I've been called a head. Groovy!I'm in.
