Beautiful day this morning. A crisp 6 degrees F without a breath of wind. As the sun came up, ice crystals were sparkling like diamonds in the snow, but that is tough to photograph.. No going anywhere, so I get to play in the shop.  ;-T

I just spent 10 days in Noblesville, outside of Indianapolis, it was cold, but many of the days we had snow in so cal and not in Indiana.... Looking to move up there, will be about 25 miles from Chuck, should be interesting....  Indiana has good pork products. whooo hooo ~;

Hey, Father.. if you're lucky enough to ride that bad Strada to the Illi noise rally in May, they'll have smoked pork to die for. The Iowa rally is the king of pork chops, though.

Been +10 here all day, going down to -5 tonight. Guess I'll have to bring in the brass monkey and set up the ladder so I can break the smoke off the chimney.

Just returned from a ride with a friend to and from Arthur's pass. 200 mile round trip. Started off at 62degF  ;D, but then going over porters Pass it started raining with mist and dropped to 48degF (unscheduled)  :( . However, once over the Pass it rose back up to 74degF  ;D and tuned in to a beautiful sunny day. Had lunch, shooed away the Keas trying to destroy the bikes, admired beautiful scenery, blitzed past Triffids, had a great day and his FJ600 and my Breva both performed superbly.  ;-T

Of course, down on the backside of the planet it's our summer!.  ;D ;D ;D :bike

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday, it was -7 F; today, it's warmed up to 23 F. That's a 30 degree improvement! Of course, now it's snowing; but we're only supposed to get about 3 inches. And it will lay around for days or maybe weeks since it isn't supposed to get above freezing until God knows when (the weather forecasters sure as hell don't); but Hey! at least it's above zero.

We saw an improvement here too.    +22F instead of +6F.    So, basically, this morning sucks less.

Idiot drivers is what I hate about winter, I'm Ok with the rest.

I'm doing some renovations to my home.  I helped the carpenters replace some doors and windows a couple days ago.  The house got pretty cold and the next heat bill should reflect that.  Oh well,  want to get this project done before riding season starts.  Keep warm folks and good luck with your winter projects.
