New foot controls
« on: December 09, 2023, 06:39:00 AM »
Made a new shifter and brake pedal for my Cal, to fit me. Bought a set from a member here, had the chrome shop strip them. I then cut, welded, and bent them up. Dropped them off at the chrome shop yesterday. Bushings were plastic, will turn some new bronze ones once I get the parts back.

Good idea,I developed a hip soreness from lifting my foot to brake for 100000 miles on my footboard California.Itbwas so sore I thought I might need a hip replacement but found out the joint was ok and started doing stretching which has helped a lot.I got rid of the footboard bikes.

BAR Plating in Meriden, CT. Does mostly custom stuff. When I was there another old guy was dropping off front bumper parts for an E type Jag.
