Can someone help with the value of original v7 sport electric petcocks?

I’ve had these for a while, they came in a box of part i got with a parts bike years ago.  I need to sell some spare parts for some unexpected home repairs.  I believe these are quite rare and are original to the V7 sport. Cant find any info online and hoped someone here could enlighten me on their value.

Have you energized them to see if they work? 

Even if their reputation for burning up bikes is more exaggeration than commonplace occurrence, I think they rank right up there with using original tires & tubes manufactured in 1972-74 on your bike.  100% correct and great to look at but a viable existential risk to actually use them on a regularly ridden bike.  Limited audience, limited practical application. 

If they work properly, I would expect min $100 each as my wag.  If not, I think they’re more of a conversation piece than anything else.

But Tom, no V7 Sport is complete without one of those babies!  The one with the intact decal is worth more than the other.  For the guy lacking that last piece for his perfect V7 Sport I would say up to 100 bucks.  But you'd have to find that one desperate and OCD V7 Sport owner.

My WAG is that they tried them on the first Tonti, which was the V7 Sport to enhance the upscale image of the bike, and then quickly eliminated them.  I'm guessing they were eliminated as either a cost cutting move, or they had become a warranty problem.  The electric petcock was tried again on the 76 Convert, although it was a different design.

Maybe not what you're wanting to hear, but over the last 40 years of buying parts and restoring motorcycles and cars, the value basically comes down to what collectors or enthusiasts are willing to spend.
So I don't think there is an arbitrary value You can sit. However there are those here who are far more acquainted than I, and I'm sure they will provide their sage wisdom.

Plenty. If you forget to turn them off, when you park, you get a puddle of gasoline on your block that ultimately discolors it. If you forget to turn the tap on before proceeding, you wind up with your motor dying just when you most need it.

Of course, you and I are motorcyclists of such experience that we would not do either of those things. But there was a time when I would, and when I worked up my own electric petcock solution. It's gone now, since it was probably less reliable than Guzzi's original one.

'73 Sport. Owned since '87. Has original electro valve petcock. Never in all these years any issues. NONE. Picked up a spare at the W Va Rally back in about '90 just in case. Still got it. And a spare headlight shell complete. Cheap (thanks Lynn). And found a spare decal a couple years later. Still can turn the key on and hear that "clunk". No Problemo.

I wonder what the Sport that went for record bucks had?If manual,your spares just got way more valuable.
