Title: Can someone ID these Hepco-Becker items?
Post by: nc43bsa on March 06, 2015, 07:32:58 PM
I would be interested in them if I could determine if they are appropriate for my luggage.  They are certainly cheap enough.

They are the false bottoms to the H.B. junior bags. Probably the 40 litre.

How are they used?

They fit at the bottom of the hard bag, strap side outermost. The straps hold the optional soft inner bag in place. There should be matching straps attached to the inside top of the case.

The long sides snap into grooves in the bottom of the case. They also serve to keep stuff up out of the water when the cases leak during monsoons.

Not sure why these would have any value.  If you own the cases, they are already in there.  Most likely pried out of a set of wrecked cases....
