I wouldn't doubt that median age for both H-D and Guzzi are within a few years of each other, and that it is somewhere between 55 and 60.

I'm going to vote H-D, though, because Guzzi is selling a lot of V7s to "younger" riders...

I'm gonna say that since the motor company sells about 100 times the number of bikes that MG does they have the oldest riders.

There are some old BMW riders too I've met.  1 of them had a cane and survived a head on bike collision!

I have an old friend and former, regular riding partner who lives in the San Diego area who is 85 and still riding a BMW.  He's the best rider that I ever had the pleasure of riding with.

We stay in touch via email but I haven't been back to CA since we left in 2005 so it's been a while since I've seen him.  He's had a couple of hip replacements but says that he's doing well.  He bought a new BMW this last year so he's still very much in the riding game.  John used to shame the young Marines on a regular basis when they were riding their crotch rockets on the tight turns going up Mount Palomar and he would pass them on his 65hp BMW airhead.  He and I did a LOT of riding together for many years during the late 70's, 80's and early 90's.  John is a GREAT guy.  He taught me a lot about riding but I never got to the point where I could keep up with him when we hit a series of mountain twisties.

Had the pleasure of his acquaintance on a couple of Beach's tours in the '90s - fine gentleman with great riding skills

Take my word for it, Moto Guzzi has the oldest riders. I've only been riding one for a couple of months, but already I'm older than ever before
