No that's only for rescue and SUCH. Gray area is a loophole. Nice equipment.

Not every bike you pick up is a runner and I’ve grind it’s impossible to both ride a bike to the buyers place then ride them both home at the same time. Trucks and/or trailers are sometimes a necessity.

Very nice trailer!  I bought a home-made utility trailer several years ago, made by a welder, so it's overbuilt with angle iron everywhere, and some kind of car suspension (think old gasser without the leaf springs).  The front folds down and the bed tilts, and I've used it to haul numerous bikes and misc stuff.  The tie-down eyelets are thru the angle iron, not the wood, so they're not going anywhere.  However, the wood is starting to show its age, so I might have to look at seriously replacing it with a more modern utility trailer.

Old geezer?  Maybe, maybe not.

On the plus side, you haven’t mentioned your lumbago, complained about dentures, or yelled at those darn kids to get off your yard.

The good thing about a trailer when going on holiday,  is that you can keep the peace and talk to your non riding significant other half on the way, and still go out for a ride when you get here.

I have also just recently entered the old geezer riding club.  Purchased this small (17’) toy hauler for my meet n greet lunch trips that are too far away for me to ride to and staying in the area at campgrounds for a few days!

I bought my 4x8 trailer "new" in '90 for $400 to move from one home to another.  These days it gets used by friends & family for all sorts of things but I still use it once in a while.  I think I'm on my fourth set of tires since they don't age well.

I'm a proud geezer too :thumb:  I have a bumper hitch carrier for the T7. The ride across Kansas to get to the Rockies has lost the allure for me. The F150 is a smoother more comfortable ride for the smelly parts of Kansas.

I was taught by a Guzzista many years ago that there are four basic stages to getting older.   Age 60 you become a Geezer; age 65 you become a Coot; age 70 you finally reach Codge statusr; age 75 you are officially a Curmudgeon.  You can be an Old Fart at any age.  Hey, you kids get off my lawn and don't even think about touching that bike!!

Lots of old geezer riders here. Frankly, I don't see the appeal to riding old geezers- they don't handle worth a damn, acceleration in glacial at best, and they never seem to run right for long. Much happier as an old geezer who rides a Guzzi...

Trailering is almost as much fun as riding, more so when it rains. And you can carry loads of tools.

John,
You are only old when you have alopecia and suffer from the heart break of psoriasis. That is all the codswallop for today.

Old age is always 15 years older than I am now. As long as I can hold it up, I’ll ride….and hope I remember where I parked it.

You forgot the Old Crank stage.  A trailer is a wonderful thing to have when its 800 miles to where you will be riding for a week in 50-to-70-degree temperatures but it will be 100 degrees and 2 days each way on the bike to get there vs. 1 day each way and air conditioned with the trailer and 2 extra touring days when you get there.  What's not to like?
