I have been looking for a good used 15M ECU as a backup spare. To put it mildly, I am staggered by the prices being asked by vendors on fleabay. Anywhere from 400 to 1000 dollars! :-\ Are these realistic prices or are these vendors truly the bandits I think they are?

The price is whatever the market will bear. If you don't like the price don't buy it.

It pays to do your homework. Sometimes I go months or years waiting for the right price on a part.

Yeah, I think I will wait for something to come along at a price I can afford. Fixed income and all that crap.

It's a cheap 15M. I've had several variants -- they all work, some better than others. To an extent they're timmable.

How many 15M's have you heard of going bad? me? none. spend money on tires and fuel.

remember the kids lemonade stand with the sign, $10 per glass. The kid exclaims, "I only have to sell one glass"
