Nice use of donor vehicle components. Headlight, Rear suspension arm used on front suspension, wheels and tyres (recall tyres are 125 width or narrower) rear wheel spats, even the front fender apears to be fabricated from the original front fenders. Unsure if I like the military paint. True 2cv might be red and white candy stripes or another wacko colour scheme they called Dolly then again that might be a bit much too.

Is that Rodekyll?

In the voice of Roy D Mercer . "Wuhl by gawd , that's a top trunk"
Pretty creative

Wow, very creative and clever, but not the direction I would have gone in. Cornering clearance looks terrible, and I'd bet it handles like a bus because of the weight and automotive wheels and tires, even if the geometry is ideal. 4,000 miles in three years, and its own trailer kinda back up my theory.

I don't see the holes for the white gloved hands.

Some poor guy lost his shirt in a game of strip poker?
Rick. :undecided:

About car tires front & rear.........bike tires back in the `40-'50s look almost like car tires too. This setup might be doable but just. :undecided:

Paint it red and white and Pee Wee Herman would love it.
-
That's pretty cool.
-
Just because you can build it doesn't mean you should.
-
I'm sure its fast with the 20HP it has and 500lbs. hahahahaha....
I still remember how painfully slow my -59 2CV was....

A "big active fellow" with his shirt inappropriately missing, and in need of some "crack spackle", I think.

...in need of some "crack spackle", I think.
Ha, that's a good one I hadn't heard before.

If it wasn't for the photographers index finger we'd have a pictorial disaster to deal with, the crack guy, (at least I presume it's a guy),probably followed the photographer around all day after that !!! 'made a "nice little friend"...

In 1993, a man by the name of Emile Leray became stranded in a Moroccan desert with a badly damaged 2CV, so the enterprising Frenchman tore it apart, built himself a two-wheel transport, and made his way back to safety. He has kept it ever since as a memento.
Perhaps 2CV, in his case, stood for "Deux Chameaux" (Two Camels) instead of "Deux Chevaux" (Two Horses).

Dear sweet God in Heaven!
That's all I have to say about that.

Looks like he's got it firmly in his hand and from the first pic it has a chrome knob.
-
602cc's???

In the second pic, he's certainly got something in his right hand but I didn't know it was chrome !

That never stopped Wild Bill Gelbke, nor did it bother the "Amazonas" company .... !

Ha, that's great. I really like the scooter-like rear end, good use of the CV fenders.

This is interesting because before I posted it, I did a search thinking it HAD to be covered here. And nothing came up. So I started a thread. I did try, jus' sayin'.
Been pretty slammed and I missed your initial post, Charlie. I'm a fan of Citroen's in general, I'm sure it would have caught my eye.

I'm a fan of Citroen's in general...
Me too. When I was a little kid, the family had a DS. It was by far the coolest car that's ever been in the family. Features it had in the early '60s like radial tires, disk brakes, and self-leveling suspension were way ahead of its time, and you sure couldn't say it looked like any American car.
-
A few weeks ago a DS project for $1500 showed up for sale near me. Didn't look too bad externally, interior and under the hood definitely had needs though.
I liked the car parked next to it much more - an "Adenauer" Mercedes.
