Title: Marine Helo crash.

Hey guys. My old unit is training. They had a crash. Please pray for them.

Is that the incident in Ramona Kevin...?   Reports had injuries although not life threatning.

No, it's in Twentynine palms. A huey went down and both pilots lost their lives.

UH-1Y. They are newer. Faster. But break down  just as much.

I cringe every time I see one of these.  My son is out now, but two of my young friends are infantrymen, one training at 29 Palms and one working on helos in Texas.   

One of them was 3 mortar pits down from the one that exploded last year and killed 7 guys.

The Marines train like they fight, so there's bound to be trouble .....

My daughter is transitioning from OH-58Ds to running an Army NG UAV platoon. I'll admit that I'm a little relieved.

It always pains me to hear about this sort of accident. Godspeed to those who lost their lives. Comfort and healing to the injured...

Was in three helo crashes while in the Navy.  I hate helos. ::(  My prayers for the family of those warriors lost. :'(  I shall raise a toast tonight to the Semper Fi men we lost.
