Not really a list list, but what five motorcycles strike your fancy that you don’t own. Maybe just to check out or that have always interested you?  Here are five of mine:

Suzuki SV650
Yamaha XT500
Honda CBX naked
Harley XR1200
Suzuki VanVan
Ben Zehnder - Orleans, MA USA

All bikes I am drawn to, but feel they are overpriced for what you get.

Of the ones on YOUR list, I have a 2002 SV650S, a 1984 XT600 (not a 500, but close); I've ridden a hopped-up 1979 CBX, I've seen an XR1200 up close, and I've never seen a VanVan in person.

What I would like to try on for size:

Laverda Triple (but NOT a Jota)
1990s Ducati air-cooled 900 SuperSport
mid-80s LeMans
1981-82 CBX
Britten V1000

<edit>
How could I forget this:

Not even vaguely related, but must recommend "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" by Christopher Moore.

As for bikes, I just want my first and second again - both '72 vintage, Honda CL 350 and Kawasaki H2 750.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Just 5??  OK..

Any sidecar motorcycle..  Ive just wanted one for ages, and it hasn't happened yet..

Suzuki GS1150ES.  Ive wanted one since the first time I have seen one back in the day!

Ducati 900SS...  When the "new" SS came out in what?  89-90 I was blown away!  Started saving, and selling off stuff to buy one, then life moved in, and it never happened.

Moto Guzzi LeMans I .  Dont think I have to explain this to you all!

Honda CB350CL. Really as far as a beat around town, and back roads vintage bike it just checks all the boxes. Runs forever, moves, stops, looks cool..

There are many more that are just below the surface  Id REALLY like to spend more time with a Triumph 1200 scrambler. The bit fit me, and felt so right, it just might be the bike for me..  Also I fell pretty hard for the BMW K75S back in the day. Not as much HP as the rest back then, but MAN they road, handled, and felt amazing!

I've had my T7 for going on 2 years. I've pretty much convinced myself it fits perfectly into my riding style and local terrain. I'll keep the CX100 for corner carving in the Ozarks and because it's moto art for me. Great to be satisfied  :thumb:

I recently satisfied a lust I've had for 40 years with the purchase of an '83 RGS1000. Still one of the most sensuous things on two wheels, IMHO.
Still room for more though:
Bimota SB2
V7 Sport
Ducati 851 Tri-color
Guzzi Falcone, Astore, GTV
Side car rig, Guzzi or Ural 2wd maybe

I have no lust list....at this time I'm satisfied with what I have.

Hopefully this spring I will clear out 2-3 bikes such as:

1986 Lemans IV 1000 white
1998 1100 EV

Might sell the above 2 in one lot

and perhaps 1971 R 75/5 BMW
Current Fleet

1971 BMW R90/5
1986 Moto Guzzi Lemans IV 1000
1998 Moto Guzzi 1100 EV

I'm happy with mine. I do have my eye on a '65 Sportster in my AO that needs love. The owner didn't want to sell four years ago. I see it's now outside under a tarp...

I started riding as an adult (30) so I don't have any boyhood memories of motorcycles as a kid so that has no impact on my choices.  I also appreciate old iron but no desire really to own, buy & restore, etc.  So, with that as my disclaimer:

1. Fantic Caballero 500 Scrambler.  ( Can't get in US so no worries acquiring at this point)
2. Ducati Desert Sled 2022 Fasthouse LE.  I have liked them since they came out but this color combo is the one.
3. Aprilia Tuareg 660.  Red.
4. Britten V1000.  I second an above posting.  Only motorcycle picture I have hanging in my shop.  The whole story of it's creator and crew is the stuff of
legend.  The more you know, the more you look, the more appreciation you have.  Just wow.
5. BMW R Nne T Urban GS 2021 BumbleBee black and yellow edition.  The newer edition has an upside down fork/better suspension so I could be swayed.

To an earlier post, I owned a 1991 Ducati 900 SS white frame/wheels:  One of my all time favorite bikes and still probably best looking one I ever owned.

1974 Kawasaki Z1
1974 Yamaha 250 Enduro
2006 HD Super Glide anniversary edition
Spyder RT, which I have.
2016 V7II Stone, which I have with the fuel injection sorted out. Runs great.

So far none of the new bikes really do much for me. I don't care for the Transformer movies.

No exotica for me. I'm thinking a Honda Trail 125, and a R.E. 650 Meteor.  I also would like a fast reliable sidecar rig.  I miss driving one.
