Bob,

I find the Norge very comfortable in all sorts of weather except when there is a strong cross wind, but I doubt that many bikes are comfortable under those conditions. The grip heaters work well, which helped on this trip during the many hours I rode when temps were below freezing. When there is little wind, I am comfortable riding at highway speed with my face shield wide open. I had ridden my other Norge many hours in hard rain; pretty good protection. I think it helps that I'm 5'7"; makes it easy to hide behind the fairing and windscreen. I feel vibes around 3K RPM's, but the motor really smooths out at 4 grand.

I've owned about 25 bikes over the past 53 years; the Norges, without a doubt, have been my favorite. Too bad Guzzi no longer makes them.
