I'm still going to Mandello! PICTURES!

I'm still going to go to Mandello  next week.  I'm sure a lot of people have canceled their plans,  but many will still be going and I'm one of them.
I'm checking for vacancies now, and hopefully will be able to camp near town. I can stay at a hotel in Verenna with a few Germans,  but it's a little bit expensive. We'll see.
If all else fails,  I can camp in a friend's back yard in Lecco. That would also be OK! He's great at barbecuing!!

The international camping park in Como is huge.
Massive tent area. It’s a 5 minute ride to Monti’s restaurant at the waterfront









and 20 minutes to Mandello.
Yes, it was George in the car...

I've been in Mandello a couple of days now. Weather is warm!
I nearly froze when camping in Austri Tuesday night. Austria is beautiful!

There is a pretty good crowd in Mandello.  People from all over Europe. Great bikes to see, from Robin's to the MSG01.








I'm just finishing lunch and will go swimming for a little while.  Tonight I will go to town and party some!

The restaurant there on the shore is lovely. The small one person cabins near the reception are good value.

No. All rented out. I have friends staying there.  I chose a different camping place this time.

Sounds like a good time!     I liked zipping around the lake in the off-season.  Less tourists and hanging out.
