Always think of the Hesketh Vampire when I see these Guzzi's.I like it
Let me get in line. LeMans chassis, medium valve engine. You *do* have to be properly sized, though.
Chuck nailed it!I have one and I am just under 6'1" and it is my daily rider in the cooler months and wet weather. I can ride max 2 hours before I need a rest which is perfect.I rebuilt mine from the last nut and bolt to run in the Danish winter and not be a rust bucket. So far it's working.Motor is great! Loves to rev and is especially good from 3700 up to 7000 RPM. I have a full Mistral exhaust system on it.Front forks are ok after being serviced and very particular about how much lube oil (50-60ml NO MORE!!!) and the weight (ATF fluid). Check Chuck's Spada thread for re-build and parts info.Valtek timing chain tensioner is a must. I fitted bobbin style coils with ZDG3 electronic ignition, iridium plugs, larger alternator, Oxford heated grips and dedicated start relay. Starts first time, every time 😁I run a 130/80 tyre on the rear and a 110/80 on the front and handling is excellent.Search it here and almost everyone that owned it wish they still had it.They are rare! Why? Only approx. 912 were built and many have been scrapped or chopped up for projects.Regards,Adam
