We made it to AZ!

But the bikes are still in transit with HaulBikes.  Expect the end of the month.
NOT having to put them down for winter will be amazing.

Summers in "The Valley of the Sun" are simply brutal...but you can expect really nice weather now...and through next May! :thumb:   :boozing:

Bob,
Already been to a Bills backer bar for the Ravens game-will go to another one this Sunday.  Heck, I kept a digital sub to The Buff News to follow the team.  First game in 1963 at 6 years of age-I even have a Jack Kemp autograph football!

Looking forward to meeting up with the forum members who live out this way.  There are some LOVELY roads here.
Still getting settled but zero regrets about leaving.  It was time to do for us after all those years for everyone else.  Didn't mind it one bit but always wanted to live out west-and there it is.

Did Joe get his bike/my bike/his bike all sorted?

I will miss Bill, though and our kind of monthly meet-ups to eat.

Fleece, good move!   If you are a Bills fan, our son in law worked in the front office of the  Bills for 27 years. He left a few years ago when the shit hit the fan. He now has a Podcast on Spotify called "if the walls could talk in Buffalo." Himself and onther front end guy along with past players and guest speakers do detalled stories of the what went on behind the scenes..

Welcome to AZ, KOF (King-of-Fleece)! :thumb: :boozing:

When you get settled and get your bikes, perhaps you and Turin can motor up to Vortex-Land (Sedona), and I'll fire up the Centauro,  and we can ride to lunch someplace cool.

Back in the day I'd ride to Tucson in March or April - out of New England. Sometimes an exceptionally kind soul would offer a bike. The last time; having flown down - to ride a bike I bought, sight unseen, back home.

I had a friend, (bmw/ducati shop in Tucson), add lights, a tune up, steering head brgs. et.al. to make the ride home quick & clean.

A huge hoot for many years. Met several moto journalists whose ramblings & books I had enjoyed.

I packed my bike to ride home. Satisfied I had everything on board I went back in the house, left the keys, walked outside and learned I had been robbed. Whomever was fast, for certain. The tank bag was gone - all essentials were gone. In other words a full tank of fuel and no where to go.

I contacted the fellow I stayed with - He called one of the guys in our group. He drove over to help. I learned he was an FBI agent. He took me to his house, bought a legitimate license over the internet - in my name, w/in 10 or 15 minutes,!!!. Turned to me and peeled $900.00 off and gave it to me.  Zoooom!       Good fortune, R3
