I worked in the needle industry for several years as an industrial embroidery machine tech for a Japanese co. named Barudan. It's quite a process to take a roll of fabric off a truck and turn it into a wearable.

I am fortunate to be of average size because my Olympia one piece riding suit was about 25% the cost of an Aerostich.

Not cheap, but beautifully designed, and very well made.
I like mine.

I just today scored a used R3 in like new condition for $225. For real! Silver or grey with black . Fits me way better than my old ratty crash experienced Roadcrafter.
Color scheme matches my Norge, hope I can get that started before spring🙂

Very interesting and enjoyable video. I drove four hours round trip to try on a used Roadcrafter. It was just too small. Eventually I bought a Transit in black. I love it. Given the expertise and equipment needed to build these suits I don’t think the prices are out of line. I just wish the Transit were American made like the textile suits.

I just wish for the price you could get a custom made to order suit or jacket from them.
