First Second time ever an American is on pole for a Moto2 Race.   This will the top race since MotoGP was cancelled due to the coronavirus.  I can only hope that we'll get to see it on TV.

Joe Roberts became the first American to qualify on pole in Moto2 since 2010, after beating Luca Marini in qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix – with both setting identical laptimes.

Speaking of Moto GP...the city of Austin has been declared in a state of emergency, which now includes COTA just south of town.  Yet to be determined if the April race of Moto GP goes on with public viewing or in private or just gets punted to Argentina.  Also now waiting to see what happens in May with the Rolling Stones scheduled to play COTA on the track.  Hard to predict if this health issue will be much worse or better by then...really a gamble now.
