I have given up trying to register on the V11 forum and all it's iterations.Nothing seems to work anytime I've tried. I will have to depend on your good graces.
After about an hour and a half I failed to get registered with that site. I forget what is was now but and the end of the registration process there was a question that I could not for the life of me get right. Just had to give up.
OK, if I order thirty V11 plates I can do them for $120AU each.If I order five or ten 'Tonti' type plates which will do early Sports/Daytonas and Bellagios too they will be $140 each.Postage will be on top of that. I won't order until I recieve payment and won't ship until that is covered.Pete
Conversely the V11 'Broad Sump' plate is a real engine saver.Pete
Generally speaking they don't Chuck. I always try and make it clear that for most road use models with the *Old* style 'Tonti' sump are unlikely to suffer from pick-up exposure like the 'Broad Sump' engines and even the 'Broad Sump' five speeds seem to be less prone to it than the V11's but for folks who are going to spend a fair bit of time in the upper rev range there are benefits that come from reducing windage. The reason I'm only producing a run of five of the 'Tonti' style plates is because I actively discourage fitting one unless the bike is being used for racing or is ridden very hard on the road. It's just another leak point after all. Conversely the V11 'Broad Sump' plate is a real engine saver.Pete
