Reaction rod question
« on: April 22, 2021, 05:49:17 PM »
On my 08 1200S / 13 Griso Frankenstein bike  The reaction rod is 1 inch too short to slide back in place without preloading the shock a inch or two. The shock is a Penske. The Reaction rod is from the 2013 Griso  Part # 883046 with a eye to eye length of 17 inches. Anybody know the eye to eye length of a  1200S/ Norge reaction rod  Part # 977262 ?

Can’t you grab the eye at the top of the arm protruding from the bevelbox and move it towards the end of the rod ?

I  took the it back aprtr to figured out my mistake, the shaft was not on splines at the gear case so the reaction rod would not line up unless you compressed the suspension. Fixed now.
