Reunited with my Dream
« on: June 02, 2024, 01:48:17 AM »
I bought this bike 30 years ago, new, for about $1200 in Thailand. If I remember correctly it is 110cc horizontal single cylinder.
It was called the Honda Dream. I was informed that pretty much nothing has been done to it repair wise in those 30 years.
I think the oil has been changed and maybe a new set of tires. I'm guessing it has never been cleaned.
I didn't ride it much as I had a Honda 125 sport from the 80's that I rode and also had a couple of French cars.
The odometer stopped working so I have no idea how many kilometers are on it. Otherwise it works well.
A true testament to the durability of these machines.
It was left with my in-laws about 25 years ago. I'm not going to reclaim it. I had pretty much forgotten about it.
It was just interesting to see it again after all this time.
I guess they are not worried about theft as the ignition key remains in the switch with a string attached.
