This one really is quite well executed. One area in particular is pleasing to my eye and that's the way the rear frame rails were fabricated to form a continuous loop above the fender and behind the seat. So often people just stub the rails off behind the shock mounts. I've done a few of these projects and I can tell you there's a lot of time and money invested here.

Really nice Tonti frame based custom . Modern front end and brakes and probably the oldest rear end in existence , kinda strange .

A cafe Guzzi that actually has upgraded brakes and possibly motor... Excellent ! I'd like more details on this one.

Clean build, especially the exhaust. Id love to know more about it. I like bare rocker arm covers though.

Definitely a nice execution , I only wonder about the egos with rear sets and upright bars. something calls out for clip on s but on the other hand, I'm glad they didn't as it separates it from the rest. Thanks for sharing , lovely build.

Most probably based on an 850T. Rear drive and rocker covers are indicative of a T vs. T3.

I have about the same setup with upright bars and same position rear sets. Works well. Much much better than clip ons. With the clip ons I found it hard to actually ride the bike spirited as I could hardly move at all as soon as i was on the bike. With the upright bars it is much better to ride and handles a lot better. Or it feels like it handles better as you don't rest so hard on your hands. And the leg cramps are almost gone as well. I will make a new seat this winter (hopefully) and see if I still need to replace the rearsets or if it will be ok with just a little taller seat.
This bike looks like it is build to be ridden.

Strongly agree about completing the rear rail over the fender. That looks great. First time I’ve seen someone point that out and yes I hated the chopped off look of 95% of cafe builds

There’s a lot more to like on this one than most of it’s conceptual predecessors.
He’s done a nice job of the rear subframe and fender. If I could wave a magic wand over it, I’d have a little more subtlety in the curve of the pipes and maybe the fork lowers in red are a bridge too far.
I think a frosted green for the frame would have been less garish. In any event though, it looks like you could actually get on it and go somewhere... :bow: :thumb:

Started as a rough 850 T. Engine is 88 mm bore , twin plug heads Le Mans spec, B10 cam , converted to oil filter. German Sashcse ignition. 36 mm Dellortos. Front end is 38 mmCerriani from 860 Ducati, Race Tec gold valved with Eibach springs,they work well. Wilbers rear shocks. 320 mm front rotors with 998 Ducati Brembo calipers, Convert back wheel with floating caliper.

Interesting swingarm treatment. Kept the 850-T drum brake swing arm (and rear drive). Floated the rear caliper via needle bearings or a bushing inside the caliper hanger and a torque arm to the centerstand pivot bolt area. I have done this in the past.
