Making Progress
« on: October 24, 2021, 04:46:41 PM »
Still on a walker, but made ten free steps today, and later tested the seat height on a couple of the bikes.  It's a good thing that I haven't figured out how to mount that walker in a bike.

 :boozing:

Everything still hurts like **** , but I'm expanding the range of movement.   Just in time for winter. LOL

Tune in next month when we'll try to discover the optimum coats of wax for your little motorcycles.

Her name is Virginia.  You won't see her here, as she does not do internet.  🙂

She was a passenger on the bike, and very fortunate to walk away with a couple of minor bumps and bruises..... and has been a Saint thru this whole thing.

Keep on keeping on Kevin.

My wife would be telling me that it is time to move on if that happened to me.  She wanted me to move on after my back infection because she didn't like seeing me in pain.  She won't ride with me anymore.

Structured physical therapy is finished, so I joined the local YMCA and spending a bit of pool time.  It's working.

The weather has been nice and I've been riding the recently acquired Kawasaki 900 Vulcan.  I DID get the Eldorado 1400 out for an afternoon, but I'm gonna need to wait until I do that again.......  Still, it felt good.  You should have seen the Wife's face when I met her going the other way.

Thank you, thank you thank you EVERYONE for the encouragement.

Christmas is a week away, and after that, the days will be getting longer.

Just yesterday, my lovely wife was taking motorcycle inventory and said "hey we don't have a Honda"

  :bike-037:

I guess we're not finished with the Christmas shopping.

Not to be rude, but why would you want one  jk

I have a hard time wrapping my head around that Vulcan Kawi you picked up being a smaller bike, but if the lower seat height and lighter weight are a nice fit for you, good on ya.

Glad to hear you're doing well and making serious headway.
