I worry about heat and the rear tire if i go to low of pressure......Cours e, like my wife says,,,i worry about everything!

Bob, run it at what is comfortable for you.  Carry a heat gun with you and check periodically if you want to lower the pressure below where you have it.  If it is not beating you up, then keep it where you run it now.

Lower pressure is not recommended for higher speeds.

Y'ep, 55mph in the day on highways and for short sprints.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉

Bob, always remember what Mark Twain said,
"I've had many troubles in my life.  Most of which never happened."

I am NOT a fan of 80's music but thought this was a good theme song for my up-coming trip on the old Honda CB750 chop, to the Honda Choppers meet inNorth Carolina the end of June.  Oh and RIP to Tawny Kitaen who was the model/80's star in the video and other video's etc.  Holy HAIR Batman!

Yes, it's all in our heads.  Our over-active mind is the real problem. Very Zen actually.

Lol.  I have to put a new front tire on the chopper (Its too old) and synch the carbs.  If I can get that stuff all done before the 23rd of June, the mission may be a "GO"!

Where in Ferguson is the World Choppers event being held? Blink and you'll miss it, I'm not sure they even have a traffic light there.

I once rode 650 miles to Oklahoma with an older relative & he had 25 lbs in his rear tire on an R90S BMW. He rode the entire country like that including 2 up with his woman. He said anything above that uses too little rubber on the road & wore the tires out in the center faster. He never had problems.

I’ll bet those tires weren’t at 25 lbs once heated up.
