I don't think that's their marketed name, but perhaps what they're using when listed on paper. Like, I imagine many of our beloved models have a few extra symbols or abbreviated labels added to them when written down for dealers, parts sellers, etc. Also, why would a company market a name that will eventually show their age when Euro 6 goes into effect?

On the website, Guzzi simply says V7 ... V7 Special, V7 Stone, V7 Centenaurio, etc. Personally, I dig V7850, because it highlights the absurdity of continuing a name based off displacement as the displacement moves farther and farther away from accuracy. That says quirky to me, and nothing's more quirky in these modern times than a Guzzi, so I'm led to believe by the journalists.
