No excuses based on the weather forecast this year guys .

Thursday April 21     82  light winds
Friday      April 22     72  light winds
Saturday April 23      78 light winds
Sunday   April 24      76 light winds

 No rain in the forecast

  Dusty

Man, y'all have a lot better weathermen than we have in Texas as they can't even predict the weather for the next day. At the

Texas rally in Lindale those with the fancy weather gizmos were all saying "Lookee here at this big storm coming in." Never got a drop!

The chamber of commerce is going to fix breakfast Saturday morning on a donation basis . The town has been so good to us , we should help support them .

Is the camping on the hard concrete floor of the barn, or do we have at least some soft earth on which to pitch a tent?  Weather looks great!!

Plenty of soft ground to pitch a tent on , in fact , maybe the softest ground anywhere . No rocks at all, like having a feather bed  :thumb:

Gary Scott , Kevin , and Dave and Dottie are already in Cedar Vale  Apparently Gary was a bit confused re the dates  I told them to hang out until next Thursday and the rest of us would join them , although maybe the locals might not tolerate Gary for a whole week

Giving the EV a careful walk around inspection, I stopped at the rear tire and thought, "yeah, that rubber will meet my needs for those challenging Kansas roads".  Well provided I don't go more than 500 miles.

If all goes according to my scheming plan, I'm should be bringing a little customized schwag for the rally, donations from sales of said schwag will go back to the organizers and to defray small costs...

Twisted Oz Motorcycle Museum, Augusta Kansas

open Weds - Sat.  It's about 65 miles from CV and 20 miles due east of Wichita.

Might make a good day trip and lunch ride (perhaps Friday if we go to Wool Arc on Sat?).

Dang, Swede, Chet, Luap, LR, all coming this year. Makes me feel guilty for not being able to make it. And I usually don't feel.  Next year we will have our toy hauler and we'll be there. Lorraine's horsed overs, my cigars and scotch, and hot showers available. Ya'll have a great time. And Rocker, thanks for volunteering to take copious amounts of photos.  What? You don't remember volunteering?  We all heard ya volunteer. Lol
