I thought they were going to try to get that hotel that is downtown, the one with the courtyard. Oh well. If I am still in this area I'll be there.
Maybe if somebody asks nice I'll send along a few of my Moto Guzzi 3D logo stickers for not a door prize for the not a rally!
I'll be there. The bread pudding at Nates is to die for.M
I plan on being there by avoiding Nates. Twice is one too many times for this cowboy. Better food at better prices available else where.Riding is good, company is great, hotel - meh. :)
This is a generally nice motel, though the hot water in the outlying building was in short supply when I was there. The area has some of the best riding in the southwest outside of the real mountains, and of course the company will be exceptional. I hope to make this year's event...
Whoa! Cottonwood! My back yard.If I can put together the motorcycle purchase by then I would love to stop by for a few minutes to say hi to ya'all.
The ride up 89A to Flagstaff is great fun.
Thanks for checking on that hotel. Totally understand. The View hotel is a great one as well. Location, good parking lot area, and the View :)tI'll camp again if I haven't moved by then. It was just Dick, Pete and I at the campground last year.
I cannot be there but I will tell my brother Steve about it. He lives in Prescott now and I have given him my 1964 BMVW. Btw with VW engine.I am sure he will drop by and say hello.Tom
OFF TOPICMhhh - bread pudding I have very fond memories of bread pudding Is the US version the same as a proper UK one, i.e. a solid slab in a brick like shape full of currants and spices. Or is it the more dainty bread and butter pudding with the triangular crust sticking out the top??BACK ON TOPIC
Aha - I like both but the Brick was the normal fare in my house as a kid
