We've checked that hotel.  It's cool, but too small to host the rally.

This is a generally nice motel, though the hot water in the outlying building was in short supply when I was there. The area has some of the best riding in the southwest outside of the real mountains, and of course the company will be exceptional. I hope to make this year's event...

I plan on being there by avoiding Nates. Twice is one too many times for this cowboy. Better food at better prices available else where.

@ HardAspie - YES!  Please stop by The View Friday afternoon or Saturday!  All motorcycle riders always welcome, regardless of brand!   You will also see A LOT of cool Moto Guzzi's from all over the Southwest!

Yes, through Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Fabulous views and vistas!   Go early...as the traffic on Saturday in Sedona can be a lolly-gag through town!

I'll camp again if I haven't moved by then.  It was just Dick, Pete and I at the campground last year.

charlie b - I think the campground is great and convenient!  As long as you guys ride out to be with us...that's all that that's really matters!    RIDE SAFE...and hope to see you all again in May!

Is the US version the same as a proper UK one, i.e. a solid slab in a brick like shape full of currants and spices. Or is it the more dainty bread and butter pudding with the triangular crust sticking out the top??

I like bread pudding, if it is done right, but I REALLY prefer "Rice Pudding!"  Mmmmmmmm-BOY!!

@ tris - Never heard of "Brick" pudding (??) Is that the same as bread pudding?  Again, bread pudding is fine, rice pudding is best, but I draw the line with "BLOOD Pudding!!"

This is pretty close to what my Mum used to make but don't pimp it up by adding cherries and cranberries as it suggest as an option - that's just wrong 

My old man thinks it's the height of decadence though to have it with double cream instead of Carnation evaporated milk 

I recommend though that you don't go swimming after eating a chunk - as you'll probably go straight to the bottom ......... reading that back I wonder if I'm not selling it too well 

If by blood pudding you mean black pudding - a full English breakfast isn't complete without a good black pudding!

@ tris - "Black" (or Blood) pudding for breakfast sounds just plain...."NAPPY!"  

For >15 years, I traveled all through NE Asia - so I will try anything ONCE!   I have seen some nappy dishes over there!

While visiting Scotland, I did try haggis once - - that too was "nappy".... but the sweet plum sauce masked the taste of the sheep's stomach.

My friend in Northampton always told me about a sandwich called "a bacon bunty"...(with brown sauce!!)
