I got first option on a good friends Rapide after he passed away back in the mid 1990's, the asking price would have been aroind US$11000, thanked them but passed and still have no regrets.

I bought his 1968 MF250 Cross instead (#26 off the production line)

The mid 1990's was over 25 years ago, asking price to me was NZ$19000 at the time (US60c on the dollar)
It ended up going to Australia for NZ$23000.

Maybe you mean a Black Shadow and it would have to have been restored with an engine built by a name player 10 or 15 years ago.
No one was going to pay US$100000 for a Rapide 10 or 15 years ago.
