First ride of the season
« on: March 28, 2018, 12:33:52 PM »
The backyard finally dried out so I took the Convert for a short ride . No mice were injured during this test ride, But I do need to add some air to the tires.

My first ride of the season was January 2nd. Would have been the first but I had a bad headache for some reason...  :boozing:

All we did was rearrange the garage so all six of our lovelies can come out to play with little effort.

well since no one else acknowledged, Im glad you got to  ride buddy👍

I was going to say that, but my first reaction was a smart-a$$ed "maybe you should pump up the tires FIRST, eh?" all in good fun but you know how these things come across in print so I demurred ....  :thumb:

Did about 30 miles on Saturday. Good to be back in the saddle I say! Going to get my wife's Miata and the old Honda Shadow Ace out of the storage unit Saturday.

Depending on the wife's health and Dr.s appointments I'm hoping to get more riding this year but we'll see how it goes.
Last year I got a 3 day 700 mi ride in because she was feeling well and I was able the get the daughter on speed dial if needed.
Like I said  we'll see how things go.

I rolled the Eldo into the garage for new front brake shoes and Wirth fork springs.Should get the shoes back from being arced today. Been riding the XT350 since the February warm up,perfect bike for the pot holed sand covered roads.

I put new Wirth progressive springs and FAC dampers in the Monza quite a while ago. There hasn't been a fit day since.

I’m in NC and we got to ride several days in each of the winter months. I changed over to an open loop system on my Calvin and it took about all winter to get in several rides to tweet the map several times to get her perfect but we got it. This was my winter project and thanks to my buddy down under I’ve got a dang fine running bike that should now run much cooler in the hot weather here in the south.
