I searched for info maybe I am searching in the wrong area? Anyway have new brake pads and see the pin with the small clip removed clip and pin does not push out (special tool?) Sorry but I have been riding and wrenching on bikes since 1965 but cannot figure this one out. And where can I find a shop manual for my 09 Norte. lOVE THE BIKE AND THIS FORUM THANKS

Thanks for the manual, no riding here in Northern Arkansas today anyway raining, tomorrow is more promising. Thanks again for your help

Give the pin a slight tap with a suitable punch.
There’s an expandable bit on the pin that reduces the chance of the pin coming out if the clip falls off.
A VERY light touch of grease will aid subsequent removal, but don’t slather it on like your favourite lubricant, or you may have grease migrating onto your pads.

I lube the pins with a dab of copper anti seize. Like Huzo states not a lot.

I do that as well.
The Breva 750 has those pins held in with minute C-clips. Horrible little things. I would much prefer an R-clip.
