Have to figure out which one would match the racer better with it's red frame...

I showed my wife the green set and she said "Buy it!"  LOL!  I said it would look too christmasy with my red shock springs and valve covers.  LOL!

Maybe I could buy them and put them on a shelf and then buy a leftover V7III next year.  Mmm.

Where did you find the price?  I think the stripe would go best with the Racer frame.   :thumb:

Thanks.  Looks like the Green set won't be available until fall so that gives me some time to recoup my motorcycle account.

I like the look of the record fairing in your profile a lot.

I like these, especially the green, but still like the earlier record kit better.

I sent AF1 an inquiry on the green set.  They make is sound like 6 to 8 weeks after ordering, but the article said "released in the fall 2019

I do prefer the frame mounted fairing of the earlier kit, but, never liked the molded in number plate area of the either seat cowl (one that came with the bike, or the kit).  For that matter I don't like the squared off seat cowl of the kit.   That's why I waited util the fairing was available for purchase w/o the seat cowl, as I didn't want to waste money on the seat cowl I was never going to use.   I also hated the "number plate" thingy up front too, and couldn't wait to remove it.

I prefer the simple rounded cowl.  I don't really like the painted on (or decal) areas for numbers either.    It isn't an actual race bike, and most of them never will be.

I like the organic shapes of the fairings, and smooth seat cowl of this new kit, but, don't want the pretender-racer number plate crap!

Triumph nailed the look with the Thruxton R + optional fairing.   Great shapes, no stupid number plates!

That Triumph looks good, but a friend shared with me that that style fairing can make the front end light at high speeds which the V7 doesn't have to worry about.

I wonder if any of these fairings are tested in a wind tunnel.

The friend rode one of these and experienced the lift and lightness in the front end.

This is just coming from one friend, and I didn't do any research to corroborate his claim.   Take it for what it is.

A friend of mine owned one for a year, and never commented on the front end lift issue.    And, he likely did ride it fast.
