FINALLY got a nice riding day and a chance to try out my new gear. First time that I now have full head to toe protection. Was my Christmas presents. Olympia Airglide jacket and pants, both are armored. Sidi boots, Schubert C4 Helmet, and armored gloves, can't remember the brand off hand. Got in about 80 miles. The helmet was wonderful, big improvement in comfort and noise over my previous Nolans. The Olympia gear felt good and very comfortable in cloudy mid-60s weather. The boots and gloves will need some breaking in but felt quite good for first ride. Overall a great day!

Love my very-not-new Olympia jacket & pants, and Sidis ... maybe I'll even get to wear them soon.

A BMW textile suit literally saved me during my only crash, which happend in a sweeper at 90 mph. Wearing protective gear is a no-brainer. The least I ever wear is abrasion resistent motorcycle jeans and a leather jacket. Standard jeans tear like tissue paper in a crash. It is common to see guys riding in shorts around here in summer, boggles the mind.
