Just passing this along for anyone that might be interested.
My Brother passed away in August of last year. I am selling his 1981 Moto Guzzi Lemans CX100 with 12,921 miles, which he purchased new on 10/22/1980. $6500. For details and questions, contact Mike Dryer, Dryer Honda/Yamaha, 317-248-1403.

What a time capsule.
I cannot find the ad on the FB Marketplace, did the ad happen to list a price Charlie...?
Wow, box stock.
Thanks,
Rob

Just one year away from stardom...I love the value in models like this...everyone lusting and looking for the REAL Le Man...and here is something quite as capable but overlooked for an order of magnitude LESS in the finances dept...and a unmolested virgin to boot... :thumb:
-
Wow, thats a real beauty! It has very low miles, and looks completely un molested too, which is rare on a bike that old. Someone is going to get themselves a real sweet bike there. :thumb:
Rick.

Oops. Forgot that bit of info. $6500. It's on the "Moto Guzzi Bikes & Parts" page.

Very nice, where is it located?
-
According to my list, 317 area code puts it somewhere around Indianapolis.
-
Yup, you are right. Here is the shop I think.. https://www.dreyerhonda.com/
-
That is a beauty, indeed, and given the history, not overly priced, IMHO. :thumb:
-
Why does the front left rotor look so worn at 12K miles? Pucks frozen?
-
That has to be nicest one I have ever seen offered for sale, and at a good price. I always felt the CX100 was undervalued considering how rare they are.

now lets hope the new owner does not turn it into another fake 850 le mans
