Now that bikes are being delivered and ridden, is it time to let posts on this new model stand on their own (as is done with all the other production models)? The combined thread is now over fifty pages deep, a good number of which have nothing to do with the V85TT. If you don't keep up daily, it's getting hard to find the real stuff in that thread.
I'd like to see some individual ride reports and hear of any new-bike issues, but new owners may not want to submit that in a thread that's now quite old (and long).
(thanks, mods)

I second that motion.

I agree.

Individual ride reports will be stand alone threads , we merged the other threads because there was very little new information coming forth .

Heh; very good. That's my definition of a shredder...

Is there anyone who has actually taken delivery yet? I thought we were still a few weeks/months away from that occurring?

Plenty of Continental sales being made. In fact their 'Eagle Days' promotion offers a 4 year warranty (France) or 3 years warranty & free servicing (Italy), which should generate a lot more sales during the remaining 2 months. Pretty good deals for a brand new release! I'd personally be a bit pissy if I'd just bought one at full price!
Hope they do the same thing again next year....

I stopped by my "local" dealer, Seacoast Sport in NH last Friday and they said there's a Euro Spec bike coming to them for a "show and tell" in the middle of April. They expect to start receiving the 10 bikes they've ordered around the middle of May. They already have taken deposits on a few and have had a LOT of interest in the bike. Wish I were in a position to be really interested

Seacoast ordered 10? I wonder if that's all they could order? I am also curious to know how many AF1 ordered.

I recall seeing 3 different accessory "packages" that will be available. Windshield, exhaust, seats, bags, aux lights, etc. I can't seem to find that link anywhere. Anyone know?

Steve,
Are you hoping for the 85 to be a tad shorter than the Stelvios...? It appears to be a great platform and I too wish I were in the position to go look at one let alone actually ride one home.
Keep me posted please and stop by on the way home so I can gawk at it.
Best,
Rob

I’ve ordered the centrestand with mine and will probably get the better screen, I’ll also have a look at the engine protection bar.

My Ronald will have the engine bar, taller wind screen, and the Ohlins shock. I'm going to call again next week to see if there has been any progress. I could have picked it up yesterday if it had been there - I was.
