Title: EV switchgear guts
Post by: OldMojo on April 20, 2019, 10:38:13 AM
Anyone have a line on replacement components? My once red kill switch is now pink and crusty. It would seem that Guzzi doesn't offer any of the switch bits individually, just the whole assembly, housing and all, to the tune of $200-plus. My Guzzi DNA won't abide that.

Did you try Mother's plastic renewer (or whatever it's called)? I've had good luck with it. It might take several applications - slop it on, let it soak in, several times. I've heard bad reports on ArmorAll that it actually will cause the plastic to deteriorate, so don't use it.

Along the same line about plastic/rubber softeners, what is a good product to soak rubber bits in?
