1975 Moto Morini 3 1/2 Srada on Ebay, rare, decent looking, the orange peel paint job is a negative and the corosion on the engine side covers is not pretty, if the Buy It Now was $4K it would be a decent purchase, doubt its going to sell.

I would rather have this 350 twin, more $$$ but its mostly original and heck it is a MV!

Anyone ever seen or ridden the MV 350 Twin?

both nice bikes, the MV is stupidly overpriced. at least it would be over here .

the performance of the MV does not match the beautiful looks, it would struggle to keep up with the morini.
parts availaility is non-existant
but just for looks, as a piece of art, one of the prettiest bikes ever made..
i have been looking for the matching 125S, i am not interested in riding it, but these are really miniature pieces of automotive art

I knew I'd seen something like this recently. BTW I think this is a great publication. I have every issue and it's the only mag I get anymore.

I used to buy anything interesting italian below 700 dollar, i ended up with the MV, a fleet of morini's and a couple of guzzi's....
in the eighties imported 350 cc bikes were heavily taxed in italy , so the whole industry turned to making 350 cc sportbikes.
basically small superbikes , with or the time good cycle parts and excellent handling
if you switch from a morini to a V7sport it feels if somebody welded the headstock bearings...
to complete the set, i had a imola on loan for a short time, slightly slower than the Mv or morini, but because of the shaft drive, reliable electronics, and proper oil filter more usable than the other two.

If each of those bikes were a 2 stroke! Or were they restricted in Europe as well?
I've always kept a few 2 strokes. From 125cc's to an RG500, including a Metralla. Except for a Paton 2 stroke race bike another Metralla would be my 1st choice. R3~

I am a late (very late) bloomer having only discovered the perfection of the Italian motorcycle some seven years ago.

25 years ago i had a norton commando as daily transport,
i bought a morini 350 to use over the winter , that one started the addiction
amazingly i was impressed by the reliability of the italians!
the commando was that bad.....
