I just acquired a 2000 Jackal, in very good condition except it spits back at very low throttle settings. Pulls well and cleanly when under load or at idle. It's only at very low throttle openings that any annoying spits occur. I think the previous owner may have tried to balance the throttle bodies, and they are now slightly out of whack. I can balance the airflow between cylinders but have no access to the equipment necessary to play with the TPS. Is it possible to get this thing running better without the high-tech Guzzi test equipment? Thank you.

Bring it by and I will go through it with you. I got everything you will need.

Another Guzzi owner in this part of Florida? If all four of us could get together on the same day.....but that would be like herding cats.

Many beers and pizzas await you if you can cure this off-idle spitting, Alan!

Looks very clean. Nice find.
I'm confident we can cure it.

Dang! That's going to be easy beer and pizza. Why couldn't you be closer?  Don't worry, Burkslaw.. you're in good hands.

Chuck,
If you were closer I would be coming by often bringing beer and pizza to learn from one of the masters. Probably (hopefully) a little knowledge would rub off!
