The road to hell is paved with good intentions, the road to recovery is saying I'm not going to go there anymore...I sympathize I have an sp1000 in parts on the floor...maybe it's time to let it go

Maybe worth it if it was a running machine. Nice collection of parts. Projects are always money losing exercises.

Unless Norton prices are dropping, the bike in Westfield looks to be priced very well for purchase.
I sold a non running but a complete original one last year for over $5k. It was repatriated to GB.
The project is tempting but right now I need to lighten the project burden at home not increase it. It is too high priced.
I am getting ready to post the Centauro on eBay this weekend.

 Never ever buy a big bore Norton Commando motor .

OOh a Combat engine Goodie!!!

Infamous in their day for either mains or big end failures, I cannot remember........... .a build and blow project
