Title: Cuba Falcone
Post by: pehayes on May 06, 2019, 10:45:38 AM
A friend of mine from the east coast of Italy just completed four weeks touring Cuba on his military Guzzi Falcone.  Two up with wife and luggage.  Never a whimper and never asked for a drop of oil!

That is fantastic! The lovely old Guzzi would fit right in on the island with all the 50's Detroit iron.

This one was on display at the Quail M/C Gathering Saturday.  Quite a few old and new Moto Guzzi's on display, and they were one of the event sponsors. Patrick did you attend this year?

No, I was just finishing up a Route-66 tour.  See elsewhere on this list labeled as a St. Louis road hazard.

Detroit iron re-fitted with diesel engines from Russia or maybe Hyundai... The cars are pretty rough if used at all on a regular basis without spare parts availability. The salty air doesn't help much either. It is an interesting to see this frozen moment in time, but also sad in a way.
