Title: Beetle map for v7ii
Post by: Beowulf on May 11, 2019, 06:51:12 PM
I know this has been covered but i gotta share. I installed a beetle map for my v7ii approaching 30000 miles. The beautiful wife bought it as a anniversary present. Gotta say the difference was more than a little impressive.

First thing i noticed the idle was much improved.

The shifting felt smoother (i attribute this to smoother fueling )

The bike in every gear was smoother, no lurching in second like before.

Acceleration was improved.

I sustained speeds in lower gears that normally feel at the top end.

Very impressed.

To confirm i rode over to a friend's to have him try it. He noticed the difference  right away.

Man wish i did this sooner.

I am glad you finally got around to installing a Beetle map!  They are the single best thing I have done for my Norge and V7.

That is 30,000 miles and not 3,000 mile?

On my Griso I loaded the Beetle map at 200 miles.   :thumb:

Let’s face it, the factory under government regulations does not tune these bikes for Preformance, they tune them for EPA regulations.
