Post by: Diploman on May 12, 2019, 05:54:41 PM
Hi All,

I would like to know your recommended method/technique for removing glaze from a brake rotor.  Thanks.

I've used a 90 degree air grinder with Scotch Roloc pads 120 grit or finer with good success.  I've also chucked in my lathe jusy to rotate them while deglazing.

This is what I use for brake rotors and clutch flywheels. With a light grit it is great for removing gasket material.
