A guy I don't yet know was parking his black B11 Breva at my wife's office, she works for a very large company, and I often drive her to work. I have been working on tracking the guy down just to say Hi, but the last few days this has been showing up in its place.

I've got the score of information for you on this one
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-Moto-Guzzi-California-/173866139255?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l44720&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true
The I contacted the seller for more information inquiring which movie it was used in (thinking Joker, or Suicide Squad or something a long those lines), and got this:
"The movie this bike was done for had Eric Roberts but I really couldn't say if it made it past the trailer. His Dad was a famous auto customizer for Elvis and other stars called Bruno's Corvettes, kind of a lost part of Los Angeles history. Anyway, his name, at least what he uses is Robert Starr. I don't follow his business but just ride with him, but I think the bike was for a movie about the artist Jack Armstrong. A Prince tribute bike. Anyway, all the best"
There you go... you can tell him probably more than what he knows about the bike..

Quote the eBay ad: "This bike has ...eight thousand dollars in custom paint and powder coating"
How do you spend $8k on paint and PC on a new motorcycle?
-
Wow, nice work!
-
And it sold for just under $7K with 4,400 miles?

Movie companies pay a high rate to artists of themselves. Anyone else would pay 2 for the work. Still a good deal on a questionable bike. Cool history behind the change.
