Try the UK one, but I should warn you it can get pretty irreverant, not for those that take themselves too seriously

On there these are affectionately known as Fugly Stradas

Nice flying machine, Enjoy it, looks like a wild ride

Nice. Wish they could've made the front end less bug-like. That's the 939 motor, isn't it? Supposed to be a great engine.

I've often wondered if all red blooded American male riders should at one point in their life own an air cooled Ducati.  The torturous part is that I know what to do to alleviate this feeling of inadequacy...

They garnered a bit of a reputation as widowmakers over here. Take care.

You realize, of course, that you have to learn to wheelie that thing at the proper time(s).

Why do they have a reputation for killing people? No idea, I've never ridden one so I don't know what they're like but my guess would be that they are very quick steering and not that stable. If incorrectly set up suspension wise and/or ridden without sufficient respect I can imagine it being very easy to get out of one's depth very quickly.

Novice riders on fast bikes give the repuation when they crash...Other riders who have never riden one mention the repuation as Pete has done here...it is what many of us do... spreading stories we have heard but have no personal expereince in the matter...

That's NOT a "Widowmaker" (IMHO)...but this one definitely was... (...and it was not even an Italian Vixen!!)

Nice.

I have also made a recent purchase....  A member of the same family as the above bike.

Enjoy!

A very competent bike for sure.  For ME, it's difficult to ride something like this slow or in a responsible manner - a reason why I sold my Monster 1000 S2R.  It constantly encouraged me to do bad things... Got boring if I wasn't riding like an idiot.
