Title: **** Kansas Rally Cancelled ****

Just heard from Frank Wedge. The Kansas Rally is not to be. The lake is officially closed. Access roads are being closed as needed. More rain and water flow from near areas expected.  R3~

 Sad to think the final Kansas rally will be cancelled , but we are gonna go underwater again out here in the middle .

Sorry to hear. The camp grounds that the rally uses stays above most lake rises but I am sure it has been completely submerged for extended time and will take the park personnel some time to get it back in shape.
Years back at about 1:00 am the rangers came and had many rally campers move their tents to higher ground. By daylight many of those previous spots were under at least several feet of water. The lake had come up 20' that night.

oldbike54, The Kansas Rally will probably continue on, just without me as the Kansas Rep. I am retiring due to a medical issue and cannot continue to adequately support this function on my own. Frank will probably find someone to step in and continue to host this event. I will continue to assist this rally but not on the same level as before.

 Let's hope so JB . I was simply repeating something that had been announced by a MGNOC member , not trying to jinx the event .
