hi there everyone
anyone know if the bosch and ducati alternators are interchangable?
or, put another way, I want to retro fit a bosch alternator onto a Calvin 1100 engine (originally equipped with the ducati alternator)
are the crankshaft noses, woodruff keys etc the same throughout the years?
thanks again to all

Crank noses are different - Bosch (and Saprisa) are short and tapered, Ducati is long and straight. No woodruff key on the short, tapered either.

Scotch would be wasted on me - I don't partake of alcoholic beverages. Happy to help.
