Title: - Check Your Nuts -
Post by: kballowe on June 13, 2019, 08:40:43 AM
Cranked that 1400 Eldo up this morning - and the rear blinker stalks were a bit more animated than usual.  And a new noise had arrived.   Hmmmm, what could THAT be, I was asking myself....

Turns out that the 17mm nuts on the inside of the assembly were trying to escape.
A bit of blue thread locker and a good snug and off I went to work.

Meh, just rolled 1,100 miles, so it was a friendly reminder to give all of the fasteners the "once over"

Good advice. The first long ride on my Vintage found my rear turn signals dangling after 200 miles. I used a 4mm Allen Key a great deal on that trip...
