Title: Peg Nut Replacement?- Crank & G/Box Input Hub
Post by: 1down5up on June 13, 2019, 09:36:41 PM
Hi All,

I recall reading somewhere that there are standard "hex" replacements for the Crank & G/Box Hub peg nuts for tonti's (t3/lemans etc), i have searched but haven't been able to find any older posts.

Believe they may have been used on later guzzi's (v11's etc)?

Does anyone have a part number for these replacements, and do they still use the tab lock washer?

Crank nut: http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68_126&products_id=1451
Washer used with it: http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68_126&products_id=1505

For the input shaft of the 5 spd. I use an output shaft nut with the "lip" ground off, secured with threaded locker.

Many thanks, now to see if I can find a long enough socket for the crank nose
