I have watch a few YouTubes on cleaning the injectors, where you back wash them blowing some carb cleaner through the injectors but the once on the Centauro are different they are not straight tube looking like the ones they show. Has anyone tried cleaning these? I did get cleanser to come out the sides where it looks to be a screen filter.

I sent mine to injectorrx.com in Houston. About $40 per injector. They totally service the unit. You cannot do that at home. Ultrasonic clean, new filters, orings, match the flow rates check the impedance. Since it was such a royal pain to remove them in my EV, I wanted them to be right. Just because they spray fuel out the tip doesn’t mean that they are correct. I would let a professional do it. My bike ran much smoother after.

I did some from injector rehab in NJ. Super nice. Quick. R1150gs ran like new or better. Very reasonable too

I do my own, don't send out. Hell, they tell you how to do it in the FI manual. 9V bat will make them operate, the rest is up to you. It's not rocket science.

How do they match the flow rates?

I thought I would give this a try but the Guzzi injector is set up different, so maybe off to the pros.

You could also leave them connected and use GuzziDiag to open w/you want to squirt the cleaner, just take them off and lay in your hand.

I think the place I used will swap yours for ones they have that closer match your flow rate. 5 bosch "xyz" injectors might flow 200 ppm different
-
I send mine out because I want the before and after measurements to make sure they are balanced when I reinstall them.

These magnetic induced injectors are not like the old mechanical pressure injectors. The coils can degrade over time. Deposits can form that will not dissolve with Techron, carb cleaner, etc. The spray pattern may look nice on your bench but how is it at 4000 times a minute - 8000 rpm? With 2 or more units, you want them to be similar. A professional sends the flow charts when the units are returned with the assurance that they are matched and meet the specs. This is how they make a living at it.

Electric injectors I have seen, US cars/trucks,older Ducati, look like they are crimped and can't be disassembled..?...Some may have a small screen that can be removed...Can the type Guzzi uses be disassembled?
