Title: 1972 Eldorado crankshaft specifications
Post by: BSABEN on June 18, 2019, 07:39:11 AM
I have the crankshaft out of my El Dorado and am taking measurements to determine if a regrind is required.

Does anyone have the specifications/clearances (or can point me in the right direction) for the big end journals, and the crank journals that fit the front and rear of the crankcase?

I don't have the exact measurements but as a side note,

Don't assume it is the standard  measurement .

My 72 Eldo came from the factory with a 1st undersize crankshaft.

I do use the radius specs. from the V7 Sport manual when having the crank reground.
