Lots of people with too much money on their hands. No Vincent Black Shadows were injured in this thread.

If you ever have a chance to see him live, Do It!
Saw him a few years ago in Chicago and it was amazing. Best concert by far and it isnt even close. David and his band are exceptional and Pink Floyd music is simply the best

I saw Roger Waters a couple of years ago. Incredible show, certainly the best visuals and stage action I've ever seen in a concert.
Basically Dark Side of the Moon beginning to end with many great ones and intermission in between. Brick in the Wall was the first closer with young children dancing along in jumpsuits. Very political. Of course Roger wrote and sang much of Floyd's music.
I posted photos here but the mods took it down.

absolute...saw Floyd during the Animals tour, WYWH tour, The Wall and The Division Bell Tour.
Piper at the Gates of Dawn is my all time fave with Ummagumma and Meddle close behind.

I think the kids were all recruited locally for that tour. At least that was the case when they played in the Detroit area. My son (14 or 15 at the time) was one of the kids. He was invited as part of the local youth theater group. He said Roger was very down to earth. Roger met all the kids a couple hours prior to the show, where they, some crew and band shared a catered fillet mignon dinner. All that and a "RESIST" T-shirt. Prior to that, son had heard of Pink Floyd, but didn't know who Roger was.

Congrats on your kiddo being in the show. I thought it was just a great part of the show. I saw Roger perform the 2nd or 3rd performance in Tulsa. Roger said during the show that the band had rehearsed the weeks prior at the same arena in Tulsa.
I was amazed at all the visuals, the screen, the lazers, the drone blimp. And of course the music was superb. Kinda shame that the Gilmour and Roger haven't been on the best terms.

I saw him back in the early 80's on a solo tour.. It was amazing!! It was a great show for us, because it was dead... only about 9k people, and we had the place to ourselves. Normaly the place has twice that mount or more. He really is a great player. Just a killer style.

I know of a few clinically depressed adults that binge listened to Pink Floyd in the 80s. I guess they were just not diagnosed at the time, and were self medicating.
I like a few songs, but find their music depressing which I am now guessing is why clinically depressed people gravitate toward it so they can wallow in their depression.
